The PLANET 1000Base-BX SFP transceiver is engineered to deliver reliable gigabit optical connectivity with transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s over single-mode fiber (SMF). Utilizing WDM technology, this transceiver transmits optical signals at TX 1550 nm and receives incoming traffic at RX 1310 nm through a standard LC connector.

Plugging directly into compatible network switches, routers, and converter slots, the module operates according to BX standards. Because it specifically supports single-mode infrastructure and does not support multi-mode fiber (MMF), it is well suited for enterprise networking and point-to-point fiber-optic communication across a single strand.
