FortiAP 221K
Wi-Fi 7FAP-221K-E
- 2.4/5 GHz
- 2 radios · 2x2
- 2.5G uplink

Wi-Fi 7 and Wi-Fi 6E access points for offices, warehouses, hotels and outdoor areas. FortiGate doubles as the WLAN controller: Wi-Fi networks, guest access and security policies from one interface. We plan coverage, install and configure.
FortiAP makes Wi-Fi part of the Fortinet security network. Wireless and wired networks share the same policies and you see the whole network in one place.
No separate WLAN controller – FortiGate discovers the access points and pushes their configuration.
The newest models use the 6 GHz band, wider channels and Multi-Link Operation – fast, stable connections even in a busy office.
WPA3, FortiGate security policies for Wi-Fi traffic and detection of rogue access points and interference.
FortiSwitch PoE powers the access points and FortiGate shows every client, band and load in one view.
Separate SSIDs and VLANs for staff, guests and IoT devices, with a guest portal and time limits.
Ceiling and wall models, wall plates for hotel rooms, weatherproof outdoor models and solutions with LTE and LoRaWAN.
Every model of the current price list. The product page lists the exact radios, antennas, ports and specifications.

New laptops and phones already support Wi-Fi 7. If the network has to serve you for the next 5–7 years, choose a Wi-Fi 7 model.

A FortiAP managed by FortiGate needs no controller or feature licence. FortiCare Premium adds 24/7 vendor support, firmware updates and hardware replacement. For cloud management there is a FortiSASE subscription, and the G and K series can get the FortiGuard UTP service.
Good Wi-Fi starts with planning – not with the number of access points.
We look at the rooms, walls, number of users and devices and work out how many access points you need and where.
We order the access points, mounts, PoE and FortiCare support and register them to your company.
Ceiling or wall mounting, SSIDs, VLANs, guest network, WPA3 and radio channel tuning.
We verify the coverage, keep firmware up to date and help fast – in Estonian, English and Russian.
It depends on the floor area, the wall materials and the number of simultaneous users. We give you the exact number and positions after a site visit or from a floor plan – so you neither pay for extra devices nor end up with dead spots.
The easiest way is to manage FortiAPs with a FortiGate, which doubles as the WLAN controller. Without a FortiGate the access points can be managed from the cloud through Fortinet's cloud service or FortiSASE.
For a new network we recommend Wi-Fi 7: it also uses the 6 GHz band, wider channels and Multi-Link Operation. Wi-Fi 6/6E models fit a tighter budget or older client devices.
Over the network cable (PoE). Most models need 802.3at (PoE+), the high-density HD models 802.3bt (PoE++). A PoE switch such as FortiSwitch or a PoE injector does the job.
Not for its core features when managed by FortiGate. FortiCare support is recommended for firmware updates and hardware replacement; cloud management and extra security are separate subscriptions.
Yes. We set up an isolated guest network with a guest portal, terms of use and speed limits, so guests cannot reach the company network.
Send us a floor plan or describe the premises – we recommend the right FortiAPs including installation.
